Steam BunIngredients AHappy Grass Pao Flour 600g 1Pack(stir in pau flour ingredients until smooth)Ingredients BGulu melaka or brown sugar 200gPandan leaves 5 piecesWater 450mlMethod1. Mix all the ingredients (expect shortening) in the Pau Mix Well. Pour in 230ml (about 1 cup) of warm water. Knead well till soft. Add shortening and knead again for 15 minutes. Till the surface is smooth, slightly elastic. (5 mins if machine is used)[If the dough is too hard, add water. If too soft, add flour]2. Leave aside for 5-10 mins.3. Roll the dough into long stripe and divide into 20 portions. Flatten each portion into thin piece. Add filling and roll again to from Pau shape. Trim into desired shapes. Place Pau onto small square piece of grease paper. Cover with plastic wrap or wet cloth to prevent the dough from drying. Leave aside in a cool dry place and wait till it rises to double the sizes. (about 20-25 mins)4. Steam the Pau over high flame for 10 minutes. Steamer should be preheated.Cooking TipsSteamer should be preheated.Knead till surface is smooth, slightly elastic.
